Musk's production plans at risk
The new tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump on parts imported from China could disrupt Tesla's plans to produce the Cybercab and semi-electric trucks, according to the Finam website.

Tesla had planned to import the necessary components for these models from China. However, starting from April 9, Trump increased the tariffs to 84%, and later to 125%. The total tariff has now reached 145%.

The company was initially prepared to cover a 34% tariff, but higher tariffs forced it to halt logistics and deliveries.

According to sources, Tesla planned to begin trial production in October and mass production in 2026. The Cybercab was supposed to be produced in Texas, while the Semi was to be manufactured in Nevada.

Elon Musk presented these models as major innovations, and they were expected to drive the company's growth
