The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan has decided to implement a penalty points system for drivers starting from June 1, 2025, Kursiv.uz reported. The document was published on the Lex.uz website.
According to the new system, drivers will be awarded the following points for violating traffic rules:
• Driving without state registration plates — 1 point
• Changing the sound of the signal — 0.2 points
• Exceeding speed — from 0.5 to 2 points
• Dangerous driving — 1.5 points
• Overtaking in violation of the rules — 1 point
If a driver accumulates 12 or more points within a year, an administrative report will be drawn up against them. If no violations occur within 6 months, 2 points will be deducted.
Information can be checked through the E-jarimaball mobile application, the official website, and the state services portal. Drivers will receive an SMS notification each time a point is added.
