The Czech Republic's Praga Bohema supercar has become the fastest production road car without an electric motor at the Top Gear test track in Dunsfold, Great Britain, according to Auto.mail.ru. The record was set by British driver Ben Collins, the former secret driver "Stig" on Top Gear.
Ben Collins covered a distance of 2.82 km in 1 minute and 9.8 seconds behind the wheel of the Praga Bohema. This result is just 0.2 seconds faster than the Aston Martin Valkyrie hybrid hypercar's performance.
Praga plans to produce only 89 units of the Bohema. All cars are assembled by hand in the Czech Republic. Deliveries to initial customers began at the end of last year.
The Bohema is equipped with a 3.8-liter V6 engine sourced from the Nissan GT-R, producing 700 horsepower (750 Nm). It weighs less than 1 ton. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.3 seconds, and its top speed exceeds 300 km/h. At a speed of 250 km/h, the aerodynamics generate over 900 kg of downforce.
