Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei survived a missile attack

According to an audio recording published by The Telegraph, Iran's new supreme leader Mujtaba Khamenei barely survived an Israeli rocket attack. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
His father Ali Khamenei died after leaving the headquarters a few minutes before the explosion. The recording contains words from Mazaher Hosseini, head of the protocol service of the state leader’s office, addressing high-ranking clerics and commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
He says that on the morning of February 28, Mujtaba Khamenei was in a complex with his father and was with his wife and son. Just before the explosion, he went out into the yard and was outside when the rocket hit the building.
Hosseini says in the recording: “He went out into the yard for something, and while standing in the open looking up, the rocket hit the building.” It has been reported that Mujtaba Khamenei sustained a minor leg injury in the explosion.
It is also said that the attack was coordinated, with several parts of the office complex targeted simultaneously. This suggests that the operation may have been aimed at eliminating several members of the Khamenei family.
This audio recording appeared at a time when speculation about the new leader’s physical condition and ability to govern has intensified. Since the war began, Mujtaba Khamenei has not appeared in public.
Within two weeks, his first statement was only released in written form, raising questions about the severity of his injuries and his ability to fully exercise power. US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said Mujtaba Khamenei was injured in the explosion and that his appearance may have been significantly affected.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi denied such speculations and stated that the new supreme leader is healthy and maintains full control over the situation. This news adds new uncertainties to an already unstable regional crisis.
It is also said that Washington has offered a $10 million reward for information about Mujtaba Khamenei. This indicates that the injury or death of the leader, considered one of the country’s most powerful figures, has drawn international attention to the region.
