According to the results of household surveys conducted by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the first half of 2025 (January-June), there is an average of 59 light vehicles for every 100 households in the country. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Over the past 15 years, the trend of increasing the number of cars is clearly visible. In 2010, there were 21 light vehicles for every 100 households, while in 2015 this figure reached 42.
In 2020, it rose to 49. In the first half of 2025, this number reached 59.
These data indicate that the number of cars per 100 households has nearly tripled in the last 15 years. Especially in the last five years, this figure has increased by 10.
This situation indicates that the demand for cars among the population is growing and that vehicles are becoming more common. Additionally, economic growth and improvements in the living standards of the population are positively influencing car ownership rates.
These trends are expected to continue in the coming years.
