First released in 2021 on the Netflix platform, the series "Squid Game" is one of the South Korean projects that caused a huge stir worldwide. Directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, this project uniquely highlights social inequality in society, the life-and-death decisions of individuals, and their relationship with money.

According to the plot of the series, hundreds of people who have fallen into financial crisis participate in a mysterious game to win a large cash prize. Although it is based on simple childhood games, the losers are sentenced to death. At each stage, participants test not only their skills but also the limits of their humanity.

Today, we will provide information about several mistakes that caught the attention of viewers in the "Squid Game" series.

Umbrella

There is a mistake related to the umbrella in the "Dalgona candy" (a favorite treat of children made from melted sugar) game.

Before the second game starts, participants must choose one of the shapes: circle, triangle, star, or umbrella. According to the game rules, players must separate the shape given to them from the candy without breaking it using a needle. They are given 10 minutes to complete this task. The main character, Seong Gi-hun, gets the most difficult shape — the umbrella.

Initially, the umbrella image on the wall has curved contours. In subsequent frames, its image changes to a straight-lined umbrella.

Smartphone

In the ninth episode of the first season, there is an interesting detail related to Seong Ki-hoon's phone. It can be noticed that the character speaks through different smartphones when making calls. Initially, he talks on a Samsung Galaxy S7 in the subway, while at the airport, he holds a Samsung Galaxy S3. Both smartphones are distinguished by their back panels, shapes, and camera placements.

However, in the second season of "Squid Game," one of the operators is caught in a fight scene. Such a mistake did not go unnoticed by the viewers.

In the seventh episode of the second season, during a scene where armed game participants are shooting at the organizers, a man capturing the process is caught in the frame. This episode takes place on the game field. The fight scene is usually filmed from multiple cameras, which is why the directors overlooked one of the operators.

Empty spoon

In the third episode of the first season, at the 16th minute, the main character complains about the cold food.

"At least they could have heated the rice," says the character.
As he continues the conversation, the actor starts eating. If you pay close attention to this shot, you can see that the game participants are bringing an empty spoon to their mouths. This situation is not very noticeable in the picture, but it becomes clear when watching the episode.
