The online platform Kinopoisk announced the creation of the second season of the series "Krutaya peremena" and presented the first teaser trailer for the project. This was reported by Upl.uz.
According to the information, the main location of the events will be Uzbekistan, as the main character is sent to this country on a service assignment. The director and manager of the project remains Karen Oganesyan, who also worked on the previous season.
The central character is Andrey Larionov, who teaches Russian language and literature at a school. The role is played by actor Nikita Yefremov.
Andrey is appointed to a new position and will have to oversee the launch of a joint educational institution that teaches Russian and Uzbek languages. His responsibilities will not only be limited to teaching but will also include assessing the proficiency and professional qualifications of local educators in the Russian language.
In an interview with the press, actor Nikita Yefremov emphasized the cultural aspects of the new plot. He said: "This story is about a new Russian-Uzbek school opening in Uzbekistan.
All teachers here must know the Russian language. My character is sent there to check their professional qualifications.
He will encounter not only funny situations but also the peculiarities of the East." The actor also spoke about his character's deep immersion in a new, unfamiliar environment.
The cast of the project is being enriched with new faces. In particular, Ivan Dobronravov has been confirmed to participate in the role of the school principal being built in Uzbekistan.
This is expected to introduce a new character into the plot, playing an important role in the development of events. The decision to create a continuation was made against the backdrop of the first season's significant commercial success.
The initial season, presented in September 2023, quickly captured the attention of viewers, with total views on the platform exceeding 20 million. The premiere of the second season is scheduled for the fall of 2025, with events taking place in Central Asia.
