Britney Spears sold her music catalog for $200 million
Famous American pop singer Britney Spears has sold the rights to her music catalog, which includes her most well-known songs such as “Baby One More Time” and “Toxic.” This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to NBC, the deal was signed on December 30, 2025, with the company Primary Wave, and its value is estimated at around $200 million. Primary Wave is one of the major companies in the music industry that owns the legacies of renowned artists.

It has previously acquired music catalogs of famous artists like Bob Marley, Prince, Whitney Houston, Stevie Nicks, Aerosmith, and The Doors. In recent years, many well-known musicians have started selling their musical works for large sums.

For example, artists such as Sting, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, and the band Queen have gained significant financial benefits from such deals. Notably, Queen’s catalog was sold to Sony for $1.27 billion.

The impact of Britney Spears’ decision on her future artistic career is currently unknown. However, this decision undoubtedly represents an important step towards strengthening her financial independence.
