New details revealed about the cause of Eje Irtemning's death

The unexpected death of beloved Turkish actress Eje Irtem, known for her role as Ishil in the popular series "Red Wine," has been followed by new details, reported by Zamin.uz.
Initially, it was speculated that the actress’s death was due to a heart attack. However, the results of a thorough forensic medical examination completely refuted these early assumptions and revealed the true cause.
According to reports from Turkish mass media, the 35-year-old actress began feeling unwell in mid-June of this year. It is said that her mother was with her during those tragic moments.
Despite the immediate arrival of emergency medical personnel, who performed all necessary resuscitation measures, the actress could not be saved. Preliminary medical findings had indicated cardiac arrest as the cause of death.
Afterward, the actress’s lawyer appealed to the prosecutor’s office, requesting that another significant circumstance be considered during the investigation. It was noted that shortly before her death, Eje Irtem had been on vacation in Thailand, where she suffered a monkey attack.
The lawyer suggested that an infection or toxin entering the body from the monkey bite could have contributed to the fatal outcome. However, the final expert examination did not confirm this hypothesis either.
Lawyer Ugur Gokkoyun, citing the official forensic medical report, stated that the actress’s death was caused by alcohol poisoning. According to the findings, on the day of her death, the actress had consumed an excessive amount of alcoholic beverages before meeting with her mother.
Additionally, statements from café employees who were witnesses to the incident have circulated on social media. According to them, Eje Irtem was drinking heavily in secret from her mother.
Thus, this tragic event, which deeply saddened fans of Turkish cinema, has concluded its investigative phase. According to official information, the actress’s untimely death was not due to illness or external trauma, but rather to severe poisoning of the body.
This news has sparked widespread discussion among figures in the art world and her fans.
