Warner Bros. reported this on Zamin.uz.
The film studio has released the first full trailer for Dune: Part Three, a film long awaited by fans. In the video, viewers can see the new looks of key characters such as Paul Atreides, Chani, Duncan Idaho, Stilgar, Irulan Corrino, and Alia Atreides.
The third installment is based on the events of Frank Herbert’s famous novel Messiah. This epic storyline will cover not only the desert planet Arrakis but also galaxy-wide events that determine the fate of the entire galaxy, shaping global events that influence the destiny of the universe.
The story takes place twenty years after Paul Atreides ascends to the imperial throne. No longer just a popular leader, he is now portrayed as a ruthless ruler responsible for massive wars across society.
In this chapter, the protagonist confronts the heavy consequences and moral burden of his rule. At the same time, a secret conspiracy against the emperor emerges as a central plot point.
Powerful forces such as the Bene Gesserit and the Spacing Guild unite to overthrow Paul from his throne. Even among his closest allies, suspicion and betrayal begin to spread.
Director Denis Villeneuve places special emphasis on human relationships and personal drama in this part. Paul Atreides struggles between the empire’s weakness and his desire to reclaim lost love.
The storyline involving Chani promises unexpected twists and turns. The cast is also noteworthy.
Alongside stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Jason Momoa, Robert Pattinson appears in the film in a new role. Dune: Part Three is set to hit theaters on December 18, 2026.
Interestingly, the release of this film has caused adjustments to other major projects’ schedules. For example, the sequel to Jumanji has been postponed to a later date.
Experts believe the third part will reveal the darkest and most complex period of Paul Atreides’ rule. The main question remains: will the emperor retain his power, or will hidden forces reshape galactic history forever?
We will find out soon in theaters.
