The Intellectual Property Department's press service reports that measures have been taken against an individual who violated copyright. This was reported by Upl.uz.
It has been determined by the Ministry of Justice officials that singer Jaloliddin Ahmadaliev illegally used the poems of another author. In particular, without the permission and contract of the rights holder, he used the poems "Yurak," "Meni deb okardi sochlarning ona," "Kuzlaringni kizganma mendan," and "Barchasini Xudoga soldim," which belong to Shoxruh Abduvohidov.
An administrative report has been drawn up against the singer based on the article "Violation of copyright and related rights" of the Administrative Responsibility Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Dangara District Court has imposed a fine on the violator.
The amount of the fine has not been specified by the department, but it may range from 1 to 5 basic calculation amounts, which is from 375,000 to 1,875,000 soums. Additionally, if material damage is caused to the rights holder, they may appeal to the civil court.
This will provide them with the opportunity to recover the material damages incurred. Measures to protect copyright are being strictly enforced.
