The price of gold bars in Uzbekistan has increased to a record level

The Central Bank has announced that the price of one gram of gold is 1 million 272 thousand 440 soums. This is 1.6 percent higher than the price a day ago.

Compared to the previous record set on February 20, the price of the precious metal has increased by 0.6 percent. Over the course of two and a half months, prices have risen by 12.4 percent, and on an annual basis, they have increased by 41.4 percent.

As of March 14, the prices of gold bars were as follows:

- 5-gram gold bar — 6 million 362 thousand soums;
- 10-gram gold bar — 12 million 724 thousand soums;
- 20-gram gold bar — 25 million 449 thousand soums;
- 50-gram gold bar — 63 million 622 thousand soums;
- 100-gram gold bar — 127 million 224 thousand soums.
