Iran dealt another blow to the Bushehr nuclear power plant
Iran has officially informed the International Atomic Energy Agency that another strike occurred in the area of the Bushehr nuclear power plant. Zamin.uz reported on this.

According to Iranian sources, although an additional shell hit the plant, there were no casualties and the facility continues to operate under normal conditions. According to the Agency, Tehran confirmed that a shell hit one of the buildings at the plant.

International media outlets have extensively covered this incident. The International Atomic Energy Agency stated that Iranian inspectors confirmed that the plant's main facilities were not damaged, no staff members were injured, and operations have not been suspended.

IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi once again emphasized the need for maximum restraint by forces in the region. In his view, military activity around nuclear facilities could pose serious threats to nuclear safety under conditions of armed conflict.

Previously, the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization reported that the Bushehr plant area had been struck twice by Israeli military forces. According to them, the first shell hit an industrial zone connected to the plant; however, this incident did not result in fatalities and did not affect the power plant's operations.

Iranian officials also recalled an incident from last March when a shell landed near the Bushehr facility. They stated that this earlier event also did not lead to casualties or major destruction.

Recent reports have further heightened global concerns regarding the safety of nuclear infrastructure at a time when tensions in the region remain high. Observers are raising questions about how these events may impact the regional situation in the future.
