The official dollar rate in Uzbekistan has increased again
The official dollar rate in Uzbekistan has increased again, reports nova24.uz. The Central Bank announced the currency rates for April 7.

According to new data, the dollar has risen by 26.76 soums, reaching 12,947.20 soums. The euro has decreased by 30.04 soums, falling to 14,422.50 soums. The Russian ruble has dropped by 0.14 soums, now at 153.38 soums.

The dollar selling rates in banks are as follows:
Ipoteka Bank: 12,985 soums;
MKBank: 12,985 soums;
KDB Bank Uzbekistan: 12,985 soums;
Kapitalbank: 13,000 soums.

Additionally, the yuan and yen have also appreciated in the official rate. Experts link this change to external factors and market demand.
