Meat price monitoring results announced in Tashkent

The Ministry of Economy and Finance has announced the results of the next monitoring of food prices in major shopping centers in Tashkent. Zamin.uz reported this.
Specifically, as of June 29, the wholesale prices of meat products at the Eski Juva farmers' market in the capital were analyzed. As a result of the studies conducted, accurate data on the current state of the consumer market and price formation were provided.
According to official data, the prices set for one kilogram of beef in this market currently range from 75 thousand to 100 thousand soums. Similar variations were observed in mutton prices, where one kilogram ranges from 90 thousand to 118 thousand soums, depending on the quality of the product.
These prices may vary depending on the type of product and the volume of sale. It is worth noting that the specific cut of the meat serves as the main factor in determining the price.
For example, cuts such as ribs, leg, or neck meat have different values. Additionally, whether the product was supplied by local livestock breeders or imported directly affects the prices on the market shelves.
This allows buyers to make a choice based on their needs and capabilities. At the same time, the relevant authorities are regularly monitoring the prices of not only meat products but also other essential consumer goods.
Specifically, wholesale prices for agricultural products necessary for daily needs, such as potatoes, onions, tomatoes, various fruits, and rice at the Food City shopping complex, have also been compiled in a separate list. The transparency of such information is of great importance in ensuring price stability in the market and keeping the population informed.
