In the city of Gulistan, Sirdaryo region, it has been revealed that the owner of a catering establishment embezzled gas worth nearly 200 million soums.
The Prosecutor General's Office reports that control measures aimed at uncovering illegal use of fuel and energy resources are ongoing.
In particular, B.K., the head of “M.E.K.” LLC in Gulistan, Sirdaryo region, illegally connected the catering establishment to the network, resulting in the embezzlement of natural gas worth 196 million soums.
A criminal case has been initiated against B.K. under part 4, clause “a” of Article 169 of the Criminal Code, and he has been detained in accordance with procedural rules.
