According to the press service of the Surkhandarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs, a fraudster was detained in the city of Termez on July 28. This was reported by Upl.uz.
A resident of the Termez district was caught while receiving 12,700,000 soums from a resident of the Angor district, using a special chemical substance. It has been established that the detained individual is a third-year student at Pskov State University in the Russian Federation.
He promised to help this citizen gain admission to the university without an exam for 1,000 US dollars and to start studying from the second year. A criminal case has been initiated under the article "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this incident.
Currently, investigative actions are underway.
