
A citizen born in 1977, previously convicted, living in the Sariosiyo district of Surkhandarya region was caught with 82 kg 478 gr of opium narcotic substance during an operation conducted by the National Security Service and the internal affairs authorities. This was reported by the State Security Service.
According to the source, the detained individual was caught while hiding the substance left by Tajik drug couriers in a secret place in the Uzun district for 2000 dollars, in a non-residential building of a local farm. It was revealed that, in exchange for the service fee he received, he aimed to deliver the narcotic substance to a designated location based on the instructions of the Tajik drug dealer.
Additionally, during a joint operation conducted by the National Security Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kosonsoy district of Namangan region, a citizen born in 2001 was caught while placing synthetic narcotic substances in the form of a "stash".
In another case, two individuals temporarily residing in Tashkent, born in 2001 and 2002 in the Kashkadarya region, were caught when they received 7 kg 313 gr of the synthetic cannabinoid analog "5-Fluro-ADB" through international postal shipments from Russia.
It was reported that this narcotic substance was sent to Uzbekistan under a different product name in plastic containers.
