“In the 117th minute, there was a small misunderstanding in the situation where the opponent's decisive goal was scored. Brahim Diaz was expecting the ball to be passed over him. Luka Modric, however, passed the ball along the ground, contrary to what he thought. Usually, such small details do not affect the outcome of the game. But this time, this particular situation turned out to be decisive for us and led to us losing the victory,” Ancelotti explained.
For reference, this victory means the 32nd Copa del Rey in the club's history for "Barcelona", while "Real Madrid" experienced the bitterness of defeat in the final for the 21st time in their history.
