A scientific olympiad will be organized for school graduates in Uzbekistan, and the winners will be awarded a Damas car, as reported by nova24.uz citing the Minister of Preschool and School Education Hilola Umarova.
According to the information, in April, a scientific olympiad titled “Future Young Engineers” will be held at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry. Only school graduates will participate. The competitions will be in the subjects of physics, mathematics, and chemistry.
The prizes are as follows:
1st place — Damas car (3 units); 2nd place — 20 million soums (for 3 students); 3rd place — 10 million soums (for 3 students).
“Such projects encourage our students to work on themselves and increase their interest in knowledge,” said Hilola Umarova.
Earlier, it was announced that cash prizes for winners of international science olympiads would be increased fivefold.
