Russian football agent Dmitriy Selyuk commented on Valeriy Karpin, the head coach of the "Dinamo" club in Moscow and the national team head coach. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Leonchenko emphasized in the executive committee of the Russian Football Federation that Karpin's simultaneous holding of two positions is a conflict of interest. Selyuk stated that Karpin might make decisions in favor of the "Dinamo" club while managing the national team.
Selyuk also reminded how many penalties the "Rostov" team has taken under Karpin's leadership. The number reached 17, after which they told Karpin, "Valera, stop it."
Valeriy Karpin has been managing the Russian national team since 2021. Until February, he simultaneously handled the national team and the "Rostov" club, and in June, he became the head coach of the "Dinamo" club, signing a three-year contract.
