The Nizhny Novgorod football team Pari NN is adding former Podmoskovye Khimki legionnaire Edgardo Farinya to its roster. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the team's sports director Aleksandr Udaltsov, negotiations with Farinya are currently underway. The player has not undergone a medical examination yet as he recently arrived in Nizhny Novgorod, but he is close to signing a contract.
The Khimki club ceased operations in the summer of 2025. In May, the team ranked 12th in the Russian Premier League but faced financial difficulties.
In the first round of the new season, Pari NN suffered a heavy defeat to the current national champion Krasnodar. The team is aiming to improve its performance in the new season and intends to strengthen with Farinya's addition.
