Today, Manchester United officially announced the transfer of Bryan Mbeumo. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The transfer fee amounts to 65 million pounds sterling, with an additional bonus of up to six million pounds potentially available. However, the club's management was not satisfied with the negotiation process with Brentford.
According to ESPN journalist Rob Dawson, Manchester United was unhappy with the negotiation style. The requested amount changed several times during the negotiations and at times reached 70 million pounds plus seven million in bonuses.
Additionally, Brentford attempted to encourage Mbeumo to consider offers from other clubs, particularly Newcastle or Tottenham. Nevertheless, the transfer went through, and Mbeumo became the record sale in Brentford's history.
This event marks an important milestone for the club, and similar major transfers are expected in the future.
