According to him, it is necessary to strengthen this area of the Petersburg team. The expert emphasized that while the "Zenit" attacking lineup is strong, they were unable to show effective performance last season.
For this reason, the club is forced to search for a striker. The goal is to regain the championship title and correct mistakes.
Thus, acquiring a striker is a priority task for the team. Last season, the St. Petersburg team scored 58 goals in 30 matches in the Russian championship.
Nevertheless, "Zenit" could not secure the championship and finished in second place, just one point behind "Krasnodar." The next match of the new season will take place on July 27 in Kazan.
