Moscow "Torpedo" team's new summer member Artur Galoyan commented on the club's recent relegation to a lower league. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized his desire to prove that the incident that occurred with the team was a mistake and to return the team to the Russian Premier League (RPL). Galoyan also mentioned that the team members might be struggling mentally, but noted that the core squad has remained intact.
It is worth noting that "Torpedo" had returned to the RPL at the end of the current season, but due to a controversy involving referees, the team was relegated again to a lower league - the Pari League. In the first round of Russia's second-tier league, "Torpedo" lost 2:3 at home to the "Chelyabinsk" team.
This result signifies a difficult start to the season for the team. Galoyan and his teammates expressed their readiness to utilize all possibilities to bring the team back to a higher level in the future.
Team fans are also hoping for the revival of their favorite club.
