French right-back Jules Koundé has agreed to extend his contract with FC Barcelona until the summer of 2030, according to Euro-football.ru.
This was announced by renowned insider Fabrizio Romano on social media. Earlier, RMC Sport reported that despite interest from Manchester City, the 26-year-old player preferred to continue his career with the "blaugrana" team and emphasized his desire to remain part of the project.
Koundé moved to Barcelona from Sevilla in the summer of 2022. In the 2024/25 season, he played in 53 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing eight assists.
His current contract runs until 2027, and his market value is estimated at 65 million euros by the Transfermarkt portal.
