According to Sky Sport Germany, the 32-year-old German goalkeeper has attracted interest from three clubs in the English Premier League as well as Turkey's major club Fenerbahce. Although Ortega played as a backup for Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson last season, he managed to show himself in a positive light.
He played a total of 21 matches across all competitions, keeping a clean sheet in 7 of those games. His current contract with Manchester City runs until the summer of 2026.
The Transfermarkt portal estimates his market value at 8 million euros. Ortega is recognized as a reliable player in his team's defense line, and there are many speculations about his future.
