Andrey Langovich, defender of the "Rostov" team, shared his thoughts on the defeat against "Dinamo" and the results at the beginning of the season in an exclusive interview with the website "Evro-Futbol.Ru". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He emphasized that the situation for the team was difficult at the beginning of the season. He mentioned that not being able to earn points in the first two matches against the leading teams of the RPL was a test for the team.
Nevertheless, he pointed out that there are positive aspects for the future. The next game is against "Krylya Sovetov," where he stated that the team has the opportunity to win with their performance.
Langovich noted that luck was not on their side in the matches against "Zenit" and "Dinamo," but if such performances continue, it is possible to gain points. He stressed the necessity of winning against "Krylya Sovetov," otherwise the situation in the tournament table would become complicated.
He mentioned that the first two matches were played away, which posed specific challenges. Now, the team will be playing at home, fighting for three points.
In the Russian Cup, "Rostov" will play against the "Spartak" team. He stated that despite "Spartak" losing to "Baltika" in their last match, he was not surprised by that result.
Langovich highlighted that the playing styles of "Dinamo" and "Rostov" are different, with "Dinamo" using more long passes, while "Rostov" maintains its game based on vertical and short passes. He also touched upon the strict requirements of the team's head coach, Valeriy Karpin.
According to him, discipline is the top priority in the team, and players are required to pay attention to their nutrition, sleep, and recovery processes. These requirements positively affect the team's results.
Although several key players have left "Rostov," it has not significantly weakened the team's strength. Instead, new players have come from strong clubs like "Zenit" and "Lokomotiv."
Overall, there have not been major changes in the team, and the preparation for the season has gone well.
