The US and Israel struck the nuclear facility in Natanz

According to the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, on March 21, the US and Israel struck the uranium enrichment complex in Natanz again. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
US and Israeli officials have not yet commented on this claim. Iranian officials stated that a technical inspection found no radioactive materials had spread and that there is no danger to the population living near the facility.
This was reported by Dw.com. Iran's nuclear agency called this strike a violation of international law and obligations, including the Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Tehran announced that it informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) about the attack. The IAEA said that no increase in radiation levels around the facility had been detected and that it continues to investigate the situation.
The Natanz complex, located in Isfahan province about 250 kilometers south of Tehran, is one of Iran's most important nuclear sites. This complex includes both above-ground and underground enrichment facilities and more than 10,000 centrifuges.
The IAEA previously reported that uranium at Natanz was enriched up to 60 percent, a level much higher than the 3-5 percent usually required for nuclear energy but below the 90 percent weapons-grade threshold. This facility was also targeted in strikes carried out by the US in the summer of 2025.
At that time, it was reported that the above-ground centrifuges were destroyed, but it was unclear whether the underground parts were damaged. The latest attack occurred against the backdrop of a regional conflict that has been intensifying since the end of February.
Within this conflict, Iran and its rivals are exchanging strikes across the Middle East.
