Lille's goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier is ready to continue his career at Paris Saint-Germain. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The French player has agreed to sign a five-year contract with the major club in Paris. According to journalist Benjamin Quarez, PSG plans to finalize the contract by August 6, the same day the team returns to training.
Club head coach Luis Enrique also held a conversation with the player and approved the signing process. Lucas Chevalier was unanimously chosen by the PSG management as the new first-choice goalkeeper.
The club has been actively working for several months to acquire the 23-year-old goalkeeper. If Chevalier joins the team, it is likely that Gianluigi Donnarumma will leave the ranks of the French champions, as his contract expires next year.
This transfer is part of the club's strategy to renew its goalkeeper lineup.
