Dzyuba missed a penalty in the match against Sochi
Akron striker Artyom Dzyuba set a record as the player who has missed the most penalties in the history of Russian championships. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the second round of the RPL, he recorded his tenth unsuccessful attempt by failing to convert a penalty against the Sochi team. With this, he surpassed the legendary striker of Volgograd's Rotor team, Oleg Veretennikov.
The match ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of Akron. In the 44th minute, Dzyuba scored a goal in the match, and in the 57th minute, he had the chance to score two goals by converting a penalty, but he missed the opportunity.
