The former owner of Moscow's "Spartak" football club, Leonid Fedun's wife Zarema Salikhova expressed her opinion about the addition of Jedson Fernandes to the "red-whites" squad. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to her, she does not fully support the joy and confidence that has arisen around Fernandes' transfer. Salikhova emphasized that although this player is coming from the Turkish championship, he has not been able to prove himself in other European teams before.
Salikhova also criticized the "Benfica" club for easily selling part of the rights to Fernandes. In her opinion, this situation is not the only problem.
She expressed doubt about the necessity of strengthening this position in the "Spartak" club. Furthermore, she did not express confidence that Fernandes would remain active and useful in the team after six months.
Salikhova also criticized the "Spartak" management, stating that despite the club spending a lot of money, the team is lacking results and quality in their performance. According to her, "Spartak" is following the path of "Zenit," meaning that a lot is being spent, but this money is not justifying itself.
