The former striker of the "Dinamo" team, Igor Kolivanov, commented on the match where the Moscow club won 3:2 against "Sochi" in the first round of the group stage of the Russian Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He mentioned that the fact that "Dinamo" conceded two goals in a short period was a problem. Nevertheless, the team regained its composure in the second half, created good opportunities, and managed to score two more goals.
According to Kolivanov, many are now expecting "Dinamo" to easily defeat every opponent, but it doesn't always happen that way. In the match against "Sochi," six players made their debut this season.
The team is still in the process of formation, and Kolivanov stated that he anticipated it would be difficult against "Sochi." For reference, on August 13, "Dinamo" will play against "Krasnodar" at home in the second round of the group stage.
Currently, the reigning champion of the Russian Cup is the CSKA team.
