According to Marinato Gilherme, former goalkeeper of the Russian national team and Moscow's Lokomotiv club, Zenit player Nino has achieved good results in mastering the Russian language. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Gilherme stated that he was amazed to see Nino speaking in Russian. According to him, it is not necessary to deeply study the Russian language at Zenit; knowing a few words is sufficient.
