Former footballer Evgeniy Aldonin, who once played for Moscow's CSKA team, commented on Abbosbek Fayzullayev's departure from the team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It is known that the Uzbek midfielder recently joined Turkey's "Istanbul Basaksehir" club. According to Aldonin, Fayzullayev's departure is not a significant loss for CSKA at this time.
He stated that the player had lost his place in the starting lineup. Additionally, since Fayzullayev's contract was expiring, the club could have let him go for free.
However, they made a good profit from the transfer, and it turned out to be a beneficial deal for the club, Aldonin noted. He also wishes Abbosbek good luck in his new team.
For reference, Fayzullayev played a total of 72 matches for CSKA, scoring 8 goals and providing 22 assists. He will now compete in the Turkish league for five seasons.
Thus, the Uzbek footballer will test himself on the international stage.
