The Moscow "Spartak" football team has been reinforced with a new player. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club officially announced that it has added midfielder Jedson Fernandes from the "Besiktas" team to its ranks. The 26-year-old player signed a four-year contract with "Spartak".
Thus, the "red-whites" have strengthened their squad with a new player. The arrival of Jedson Fernandes at "Spartak" did not go unnoticed by sports commentators.
Famous sports commentator Dmitriy Guberniev expressed his opinion on this transfer. He jokingly wrote on his social media page, "Will Jedson Arantis du Nasimentu play in the 'Spartak' squad now?"
For reference, Edson Arantis du Nasimentu is a legend known in the football world by the name Pele. He became a symbol of world football and was a three-time world champion.
Pele passed away on December 29, 2022. It was also revealed how much money the "Spartak" club paid for Jedson Fernandes.
This transfer is expected to serve to strengthen the Moscow club ahead of the new season.
