Franko Kamotschi was once an advisor to the owner of the "Spartak" football club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He shared his thoughts on the transfer of Jedson Fernandes. According to Kamotschi, it would have been more appropriate for the "red-whites" to bring in another player for the central midfield, namely Ivan Ilich.
He stated the following: "Time will tell whether this transfer is risky or not. I am confident that Ilich would have been a better choice for 'Spartak'," said Kamotschi.
It is worth noting that Jedson Fernandes signed a four-year contract with the "Spartak" club, which will be valid until mid-2029. Previously, the Portuguese player played for the Turkish team "Beşiktaş."
"Spartak" will hold its next match on August 3 away against the "Akron" team. The club's management and fans expect high results from the new player.
At the same time, according to Kamotschi, Ilich could have brought more benefits to the team. It will soon be seen how the new players in the "Spartak" squad will impact the team.
