The transfer market is actively ongoing, and at the moment, the competition for Slovenian footballer Benjamin Sheshko has intensified. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Two clubs from the English Premier League — Manchester United and Newcastle — are looking to add this young forward to their squad. According to journalist Ben Jacobs' social media post, Manchester United is considering Benjamin Sheshko as their primary candidate.
It has been reported that the club's management has held productive negotiations with the player's representatives this week. Sheshko wants to play for Manchester United.
He is ready to move to Old Trafford despite the club not participating in European competitions next season. Newcastle is also continuing negotiations to invite the player to their team, but they are concerned about the possibility of Sheshko moving to Manchester United.
However, there are several difficulties in completing the transfer deal. Benjamin Sheshko's current club RB Leipzig is demanding 75 million euros plus additional bonuses for the player.
For this reason, reaching a concrete agreement in the negotiations is currently becoming challenging. The player's future is expected to become clearer in the coming weeks.
