The goalkeeper coach of the Russian national team, Vitaliy Kafanov, shared his thoughts on the competition between Lokomotiv goalkeepers Ilya Lantratov and Anton Mitryushkin. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, last season Lantratov provided significant help to Lokomotiv and contributed to the team being among the leaders. However, after several unsuccessful games, Mitryushkin took advantage of his opportunity.
This indicates that there are two good goalkeepers in the Lokomotiv team, says Kafanov. The specialist emphasizes that healthy competition among goalkeepers always serves the benefit of the team.
