Famous coach Stanislav Cherchesov expressed his views on club budgets. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
When asked to compare the “Zenit” and “Spartak” teams, he emphasized that the main factor is not the size of the budget, but its proper management. According to Cherchesov, having a large budget is good, but it is crucial to use it wisely.
He gave an example: one person may have one hundred thousand dollars and can become a billionaire, while another may have a million dollars and still face bankruptcy. Thus, the main issue is the correct allocation of funds and their effective use.
For reference, “Spartak” recently made the most expensive transfer in its history. The club paid almost twenty million eight hundred thousand euros for midfielder Jedson Fernandes.
The value of this deal may increase further due to additional bonus payments. Currently, “Krasnodar” is recognized as the champion of Russia.
This result indicates the increased competition among clubs. It also reaffirms that high results can be achieved when financial resources are managed properly.
