
The English football club "Newcastle" is planning to carry out the transfer of Benjamin Sheshko, a forward from the German team "RB Leipzig" and a member of the Slovenia national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Sky Sports, the English club has offered 75 million euros to "RB Leipzig" for the transfer of the 22-year-old player. Additionally, the contract is expected to include an extra bonus payment of five million euros.
Last season, Sheshko played a total of 33 matches in the German championship, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists. Benjamin Sheshko's current contract with "RB Leipzig" runs until the summer of 2029.
According to experts from the Transfermarkt portal, the market value of this forward is estimated at 70 million euros. "Newcastle" aims to strengthen its attacking line through this transfer.
Negotiations are ongoing, and both parties are working to reach an agreement. Sheshko is currently considered one of the most promising young players in Europe.
