Former sports director of Moscow's "Spartak" club, football expert Aleksandr Shikunov evaluated the start of the 2025-2026 season for the Samara region's "Krylya Sovetov" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Shikunov, the "Krylya Sovetov" team is leaving a positive impression with their performances. In particular, they showed good results in the Cup match against "Krasnodar".
The expert believes that if the team strengthens certain positions in the squad, they could achieve good results throughout the season. In the first two rounds of the Russian championship, the Samara team has accumulated four points, currently holding the fifth position in the tournament table.
"Krylya Sovetov" will play their next match away against "Rostov". The match is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, and is set to start at 18:00 Moscow time.
Experts believe that the team is currently showing good results. There is an opportunity to compete for even higher positions during the season.
