Spartak football club has recently completed the transfer of midfielder Jedson Fernandes and is currently working on strengthening its defense line. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club has been interested in Saul Koko, who has been playing for Torino for some time. However, the transfer price for the 26-year-old player from Equatorial Guinea still differs between the two clubs.
According to Metaratings, Torino is demanding 18 million euros from Spartak for Saul Koko. The Moscow club is offering 15 million euros for the transfer of this player, along with an additional 2 million euros in bonuses.
One of the proposed bonuses is that if Koko participates in more than 65 percent of the matches played for Spartak, one million euros will be paid as a bonus. Sources indicate that negotiations between Spartak and Torino are currently ongoing.
Last season, Saul Koko played in 34 matches for Torino and managed to score two goals. The parties have not yet reached a final agreement on the transfer terms.
The results of the negotiations are expected to be announced in the coming days.
