The Orenburg football club lost 2:3 away to the Baltika team in the third round of the Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
After the match, the team's defender Irakliy Kvekveskiri openly expressed his thoughts in the dressing room. He emphasized that his teammates are making mistakes in every match, which leads to problems similar to those of last year.
Kvekveskiri called on the team to support each other and to focus on the common goal rather than individual interests. He mentioned how they have fought to survive over the past three years and that it is a very difficult situation.
According to him, the opportunity to play in the Premier League is not easily obtained and should be valued. He noted that time passes very quickly, he hadn't thought about this in his youth, and now he has turned 35.
It is known that the Orenburg team returned to the Premier League a week before the season started. This team had the opportunity to participate in the top league due to the expulsion of the Torpedo club.
So far, Orenburg has accumulated two points in three rounds. In the next round, the team led by Vladimir Slishkovich will play against the Krasnodar club at home.
This match will take place on August 10, Sunday.
