Joao Palhinha explained his decision to move to Tottenham

The club has loaned the Portuguese midfielder from Bayern until the end of the season with an option to buy. According to Palinha, the biggest influence on his decision to move to Tottenham was head coach Thomas Frank.

The player stated that the coach's trust in him and the feeling of being needed by the team were very important for him. For this reason, he emphasized that it was easy to make the decision to move to Tottenham.

Joao Palinha played only one year at Bayern. Before moving to Germany, he spent two years at Fulham in London.

Thomas Frank took over as head coach of Tottenham this summer. He replaced Ange Postecoglou, who was dismissed from this position.
