
“Newcastle” club is actively working to add German team “RB Leipzig” striker Benjamin Sheshko to its squad. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club has made a new transfer offer for the player, who is a member of the Slovenia national team. According to reports, the offer is valued at at least 80 million euros.
So far, the transfer terms have not been fully agreed upon, but negotiations between the parties are continuing in a positive direction. The player himself is not opposed to moving to “Newcastle” and is actively communicating on this matter.
It is known that another prestigious club in England — “Manchester United” has also shown interest in Benjamin Sheshko. However, no official offer has been made by “Manchester United” yet.
According to the Transfermarkt portal, the estimated price of the 22-year-old striker is 70 million euros. His current contract with “RB Leipzig” is set to last until 2029.
