Cheryshev: Alba should not be the head coach of "Rostov"

Famous coach Dmitriy Cheryshev expressed his opinion regarding the appointment of Jonatan Alba as the head coach of the 'Rostov' team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

It is known that Alba had previously managed the "yellow-blues" in February of this year. At that time, Valeriy Karpin unexpectedly left the club just a few days before the season was set to resume.

According to Cheryshev, the 'Rostov' management made a mistake in choosing Alba as a candidate. He emphasized that Jonatan Alba has never worked as a coach anywhere before, has not played as a footballer, and has mainly worked as an analyst.

For this reason, Cheryshev stated that he does not understand why 'Rostov' appointed him as the head coach. At the beginning of the new season, the 'Rostov' team lost all three of their matches.

The team lost to 'Zenit' 1:2, 'Dinamo' 0:1, and 'Krilya Sovetov' 1:4. Currently, 'Rostov' under Jonatan Alba is in 14th place in the league table.
