Famous coach Dmitriy Cheryshev expressed his opinion regarding the appointment of Jonatan Alba as the head coach of the 'Rostov' team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Cheryshev, the 'Rostov' management made a mistake in choosing Alba as a candidate. He emphasized that Jonatan Alba has never worked as a coach anywhere before, has not played as a footballer, and has mainly worked as an analyst.
For this reason, Cheryshev stated that he does not understand why 'Rostov' appointed him as the head coach. At the beginning of the new season, the 'Rostov' team lost all three of their matches.
