Safonov: Cherchesov is the best coach candidate for "Akmat"

Famous sports agent Aleksey Safonov expressed his opinion about the likelihood of Stanislav Cherchesov joining the "Akmat" football club as a coach. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Previously, the former head coach of the Russian national team, Stanislav Cherchesov, confirmed that he had received an offer from the Grozny club. According to Safonov, when comparing the coaching levels of Cherchesov and Storojuk, Stanislav Salamovich has much more experience.

He referred to Cherchesov as a strong coach, emphasizing, "If Cherchesov agrees, it will be a great achievement for 'Akmat'." Safonov also mentioned that Cherchesov could positively influence the situation at the club and act in the interests of the entire republic team.

In his opinion, Cherchesov's leadership skills and charisma could play an important role in the club. For reference, this week the "Akmat" football club announced the termination of its contract with Aleksandr Storojuk.

Under Storojuk's leadership, the team lost all four matches played this season. The club is currently busy searching for a new coach.
