The director of the Grozny "Akhmat" football club, Ahmed Aydamirov, provided information about the goals set for the team for the 2025/2026 season after appointing Stanislav Cherchesov as the new head coach. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the club plans to win every match and showcase beautiful and attractive football to the spectators. Aydamirov stated that an agreement has also been reached regarding the club's transfer policy with the new coach.

Additionally, the club and Aleksandr Storojuk recently terminated the contract by mutual agreement. Shortly after, it became known that "Akhmat" was negotiating with Cherchesov.

In the first four matches of the current season, the "Akhmat" team suffered consecutive defeats. Three of those matches took place in the Russian Premier League, while one was in the Russian Cup.

In the upcoming fourth round, on August 9, "Akhmat" will host the "Zenit" club at home. The club's management and coaching staff plan to work together to improve the team's results.
