Arsenal is backing out of the purchase of Eze due to compensation issues
The member of the England national team, Eberechi Eze, was expected to move to London’s Arsenal team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
However, this transfer may not happen because Crystal Palace is demanding a very high transfer fee for the player. The Crystal Palace team sees Eze as one of their most important players and does not want to let him go at a low price.
According to The Sun, one of Britain’s popular publications, Arsenal's management is not ready to pay a transfer fee of 78 million euros to acquire the 27-year-old midfielder. Eze has expressed his desire to move to a strong London team.
Eberechi Eze has a contract with Crystal Palace that runs until the middle of 2027. He played in 43 matches for the team during the 2024/2025 season.
During this time, he scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists. Therefore, the club is trying to keep the player in their squad.
